Apple Macbook Pro 13"

Apple Macbook Pro 13"

With the introduction of the x86 processors, Apple removed its small form factor laptop in form of the PowerBook G4 12" from the market and only partially replaced it: The MacBook Air may be thinner, but it lacks an optical drive (well understood with this thinnness, there is no room for one), but it has a larger screen (13" widescreen vs. 12" 4-by-3). The Macbook Air shares this screen format with the MacBook and the Macbook Pros. In the latter line, the 13 inch model is the smallest of the Pro portables, although it has some non-pro constraints like only glossy screen, no FireWire 400 port, no extension slot (besides the SDCard slot). Anyway it is the most mobile Mac that can be called full flavoured.
